After lunch overlooking the Main Market Square, continue to Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral, two of Poland's most important historical landmarks. Before finishing the afternoon, descend into the legendary Dragon's Den and watch the famous fire-breathing dragon statue beside the Vistula River.

Day 2: History, Heritage and Local Flavours

The second day explores a different side of Kraków, beginning in Kazimierz, the city's historic Jewish Quarter. Wander through its charming streets, visit the Remuh Synagogue, and gain a deeper understanding of Jewish history at the Galicia Jewish Museum.

Continue to Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory, one of the city's most moving museums, where interactive exhibits tell the story of Kraków during the Second World War.

After lunch overlooking Błonia Park, continue to the nearby Norbertine Monastery before exploring the walking trails of Wolski Forest, one of the city's largest green spaces. This location places you in the centre of almost everything you'll experience over three days. Most of Kraków's major attractions—including Wawel Castle, the Main Market Square, Rynek Underground Museum, and Planty Park—are all within comfortable walking distance. Kazimierz is only around 15 minutes away on foot, while taxis to attractions further afield such as Kościuszko Mound remain quick and inexpensive.
